Location Ideas
Some couples opt to take their pictures at their wedding venue, but you don't need a fancy venue or expensive props. You just need a place where you can be yourself.
Sometimes that's in a field, a favorite truck or a quiet place that means something to the two of you.
Some of our most memorable session have taken place in the simplest spots.
What to Wear
- Keep tones neutral and soft
- Dresses photograph beautifully
- Pants can absolutely work too- paired with a blouse, a soft sweater, or even a chic pantsuit, they can feel polished and effortless
- Avoid loud patterns, logos, or anything you'll regret in 10 years
- Clean neutral colored shoes. Minimal jewelry. Comfort wins
What About Him?
- You can't go wrong with a lean button-down or a nice polo
- Keep the colors soft or neutral, (and yes blue jeans do count)
- Layers do wonders. If it's cold a sweater or jacket gives texture and looks great in camera.
Shoes + Accessories
We walk a lot, so comfort matters... but so does polish.
Clean, neutral shoes always win. (No neon sneakers or flip-flops.)
Add a meaningful necklace, bracelet or subtle watch is a great addition to texture.
Avoid anything that steals the frame. (Ditch the Apple Watch it usually doesn't go with your outfit.)
